Family shoot : Claire, David & Isabella

Here's a lovely little family shoot to brighten a winters day!  Isabella was such a sweetie, so relaxed and laid back! 

The great thing about having shoots at home with young babies, is that they're comfortable in their surroundings, with familiar toys and smells.  Not to mention the outfit changes and refreshments! 

It's also really nice to incorporate personal things into a shoot when possible, like the Bella letters that we used for this shoot and the wooden bunny.  I couldn't resist the laundry basket in the bathroom, how cute!

Tree climbing baby

I'm not sure what it is about seeing my daughter hiding behind trees , or perhaps I should say trying to hide....  It just makes me smile!  The first one was taken when Emilie was about 3 months old, the second was recently at 10 months old!  I'm seeing a little project starting here!..... 

Katy, Ollie & Noah

Noah is another gorgeous little baby I photographed recently, with his Mum & Dad, Katy & Ollie.  It's so great to share in the excitement of a babies first Christmas!  I love seeing all the different Christmas outfits, which of course are compulsory!... I have three for my little girl! I'm sure you'll agree, Noah looks very festive and extremely cute in his stripy Rudolf trousers and hat!

James Valentine - the first 6 months!

Baby JV has had a busy first 6 months in front of the camera! I did his first baby shoot when he was around 5 weeks old (small selection above) he is such a little cutie!

Then 5 months on, I was very excited to then be asked by Mum & Dad (Helen & Mike) to photograph James' Christening party at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel in Bournemouth.

It was such a beautiful sunny day, you would never have guessed it was the end of February. Helen & Mike's happy family & friends were there to share James' important day, as with all babies in general, he is growing so quickly, it's lovely to look back at the early pictures to see how much he has changed already!
