Pre-wedding loveliness!

Summer has at last returned at last and how beautiful it is to literally see not one cloud in the sky!  To celebrate the lovely warm glow that we're all feeling right now, I'd like to share a few of my favourite shots from a recent pre-wedding photo shoot that took place in June.  

Stacey & Pete were getting married only a couple of weeks later and it was really lovely to share their excitement in the run up to their wedding.

A little view of summer

It was such a treat waking up this morning to a glimpse of the summer!  Oh how we miss you!  

As a little taste of summer I just wanted to share a few photos that I took on the beach a few weeks ago, it was nice and early in the morning, so there weren't many people around to get in the way of the shots, but the light was lovely, creating great shapes and shadows. I just hope we get more mornings like this, I'm not ready for Autumn just yet! 

New arrival !!

It's been a while since my last blog post, but I have a very good excuse!! Our beautiful new arrival has been keeping me very busy! 

On 30th March, we welcomed Emilie Sophia Strong to the world! We are absolutely smitten and are thoroughly enjoying the roller coaster ride into parenthood! 

It is hard to describe the feelings you have for your little bundle of joy when they enter the world, even the 9 months of pregnancy cannot prepare you for how you are going to feel.  Now she is here, I really cannot imagine life without her, I could quite happily spend hours and hours watching her in fascination! She is changing so much already in just 6 weeks, I want to savour every single precious moment!

I just wanted to share a few images of Emilie, both as a bump and babe.  She is already a perfect model for mummy, well I had to get her used to the camera at an early age!

James Valentine - the first 6 months!

Baby JV has had a busy first 6 months in front of the camera! I did his first baby shoot when he was around 5 weeks old (small selection above) he is such a little cutie!

Then 5 months on, I was very excited to then be asked by Mum & Dad (Helen & Mike) to photograph James' Christening party at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel in Bournemouth.

It was such a beautiful sunny day, you would never have guessed it was the end of February. Helen & Mike's happy family & friends were there to share James' important day, as with all babies in general, he is growing so quickly, it's lovely to look back at the early pictures to see how much he has changed already!
