Yummy mummy & Robyn Lilli

The images below are from a recent mother and baby portrait shoot for Joni and Robyn Lilli. They were both perfect models, especially Robyn lilli who was only 8 weeks old at the time of the shoot and as you will see we were lucky enough to capture quite a few cheeky smiles!

Robyn Lilli is Joni's first baby and I think there are some beautiful images in the collection that really capture the interaction and love between mum and baby very well. It has to be said, that Joni looks beautiful too, the ultimate yummy mummy!

Tracey & bump!

I am going to make a conscious effort from now on to regularly update the blog, as I realise I have been a bit slack recently!! However it's a great opportunity to showcase some of my recent work.

I have recently started to branch out into the wonderful world of Pregnancy, Newborn and Baby photography. This is such a wonderful, special time in parents' lives. Time goes by so quickly, don't risk those precious first moments on a point and shoot camera, what better way to record this short moment in time than with a professional collection of images to treasure forever!

The shoot below was of my oldest school friends, Tracey. She is pregnant with her first baby , at the time of the shoot she was 32 weeks pregnant. To be able to be a part of this special time for her and help record these amazing moments was truly brilliant!

Throughout the shoot at Tracey's home, I used a combination of natural lighting and studio lighting. As you can see they both create completely different effects. I really love the natural, gentle lighting as the shots look very maternal and 'glowing'. The studio shots create a more styled effect with more vivid colours, these create a more 'fashion' styled image.
