Gem's journey from bump to yummy mummy!

I have a very special blog post tonight, as it features one of my best friends from University, Gemma. She is the first of my University friends to have had a baby recently...(shortly followed by some others!)
Seeing my friends with their babies is just such a wonderful feeling, especially when you have spent so much time growing up together and experiencing different times of your life, we are now hitting the momentous milestone of becoming parents, which is beautiful to see and share.

I have added a selection of images from Gem's baby shower, which was such a lovely girly afternoon, lots of cake and chats! Followed by images of her beautiful new bundle Jack, who was born at the end of August. He is just so yummy, as you will see! I'm very much looking forward to joining my friends in becoming a mummy and experiencing all the magic you are going through!

And then along came baby Jack.....!

Scrummy yummy babyness!!

1 year on ...Dan & Rhiannon

I have some catching up to do on the blogging!!
So I shall start with this lovely anniversary shoot I did recently for Dan & Rhiannon Gabriel. I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding last year in Devon. So for their anniversary they thought what better way to celebrate than with a fun, natural portrait shoot in Bournemouth, where they got engaged!

They really wanted to go somewhere relaxed, beachy and romantic, so where better than the beautiful Hengistbury Head / Mudeford Quay in Christchurch. It started off as one of those unpredictable cloudy August days, will it rain, won't it... but thankfully we were lucky with the lovely rays of sunshine.

I hope you enjoy the following selection from the shoot!

Happy Anniversary Dan & Rhiannon

Mr & Mrs Tostevin get hitched!

Today on the blog I am delighted to share with you the lovely wedding of Gary & Amey Tostevin, which follows on nicely from the last blog post, which was their pre-wedding portrait session in the New Forest & Milford-on-sea!
The pre wedding shoot was a really fun way to spend one of their last weekends before they became Mr & Mrs, with so much excitement and anticipation just around the corner. It was a real pleasure to then photograph their wedding day as it unfolded, from the bridal preparations at Amey's house with all of her bridesmaids, brother and parents to greeting Gary and his family at the Church and leaving the party at Shorefields Country Park.

The ceremony was held at Hinton Church, near the New Forest, which was such a beautiful church, lovely towering trees and archways, and the cherry on the cake was the Vicar, I have never seen such a funny, joyous, church ceremony, the highlight was the ushers and the Vicar leading the hand mimes to 'The Whole World in his Hands' !! Brilliant!

Here's a small selection from the day......

Congratulations Amey & Gary!
