Pre-Wedding Loveliness at Buckler's Hard - Beaulieau

Helen & Dominic will be tying the knot at Beaulieau Abbey this April,  and I met with them recently for their pre-wedding shoot.  We decided to head to Buckler's Hard in Beaulieau Village, as it was near to the venue but offered a totally different backdrop for their shoot.  The location was fantastic for a couples shoot, with the mix of the woodland, waterside, lovely brick cottages and countryside! Perfect! 

To say it was cold is an understatement, but everyone seems to stay warm on pre wedding shoots, must be the romance! (and the thought of the hot chocolate in the cafe afterwards!) 

One very kind gentleman asked if I wanted to be in the picture too!..... I'm not sure they would appreciate that!  How funny!

Feeling the Love today!

I have barely had time to think about Valentine's Day this year, I'll blame that on having a 10 month old!  But as much as the big day in many peoples eyes is a commercial hype, I think the romantics amongst us really enjoy that one day a year, when you know millions of people around the world are all celebrating one thing in common... good 'ol LOVE!! 

One of the beautiful things about Photography, is you see love in so many places, people and things! And I can't tell you how heart warming it is to be able to capture it for people! Whether it be in the form of a love shoot, pre wedding shoot, wedding, families and new born babies.  Today I wanted to share some of my favourite couples shoots to celebrate this years Valentine's Day! 

I thought I'd start todays post with a lovely quote and an image that I took in Brighton a while ago.  My husband and I love Brighton, we recently took our little girl on her first trip there, which I'm sure she really enjoyed, there's so many fascinating things to look at and loads of great people watching!
